Also, it’s bloomin’ HARD to get through the process of diagnosis. People make it sound like you just rock up to the doc with your child and say, ‘they won’t go to school’ and the doc then signs them off as diagnosed. That’s so far from the reality!

So hard, there are a huge amount of hurdles to get an actual diagnosis. Maybe worth mapping that out visually to show exactly what it involves 🤔

Yes, Siski, exactly this…it’s much harder to ask that question though because the implication is huge. One of the key elements of oppression is to make an individual feel they are defective.
